The Service Project Manager / Estimator at National Electric Works is responsible for estimating, managing, and successfully delivering electrical service work and small projects within the Service Department. This role manages projects from proposal through closeout while maintaining strong client relationships, supporting field coordination, and ensuring financial performance across assigned work. The Service Project Manager / Estimator is expected to independently estimate service and small project opportunities, prepare proposals, secure awarded work, and oversee all operational and financial aspects of awarded projects. This position works collaboratively with the Service Superintendent, service technicians, vendors, subcontractors, and customers to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards. The estimating and preconstruction portion of this role works collaboratively with the Director of Preconstruction to ensure consistency in estimating structure, proposal strategy, pricing approach, and long-term customer development initiatives. The Senior Project Manager at National Electric Works is responsible for leading the largest and most complex electrical construction projects, ensuring overall project success from preconstruction through closeout. This role has full accountability for project performance, including financial outcomes, contract compliance, schedule adherence, safety, and quality. The Senior Project Manager serves as the primary company representative for executive-level clients, provides leadership and mentorship to project teams, and plays a key role in building long-term relationships with owners, general contractors, and trade partners.


The Project Manager at National Electric Works is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and completion of electrical construction projects. This role manages projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring compliance with contract documents, budgets, schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements. The Project Manager serves as the primary company representative for clients and subcontractors, providing leadership to project teams, building and maintaining strong relationships, and driving successful financial and operational outcomes. The position of Assistant Project Manager has been established to support Project Managers with coordinating technical and administrative functions in support of electrical construction projects. This role provides exposure to all phases of project delivery—from preconstruction through closeout—helping to ensure schedules, budgets, documentation, and vendor coordination are executed successfully. The position serves as a key growth opportunity toward becoming a Project Manager.


The Chief Estimator at National Electric Works oversees all aspects of the estimating department, including developing accurate and competitive bids for complex electrical projects, managing estimating processes, providing leadership, strategic guidance, and mentoring estimating staff. This position requires extensive experience in electrical estimating, expert knowledge of industry practices, and a proactive approach to business development.


The Estimator 2 (Mid-Level Estimator) at National Electric Works is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for electrical projects. This role involves analyzing project requirements, performing detailed take-offs, and collaborating with vendors and subcontractors to ensure comprehensive cost estimates. The Estimator 2 will work under the guidance of senior estimating personnel and is expected to handle projects of moderate complexity independently.


The position of Estimator 1 (Junior Estimator) has been established to assist in the preparation of accurate bids and proposals for projects. The Junior Estimator will work under the guidance of senior estimating personnel to review project plans, perform take-offs, and solicit vendor and subcontractor pricing to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
